How to apply
Here’s some information about our teams and how to apply. You can also sign up to hear when our latest opportunities are open for applications.
Step 1: should I apply?
We’re looking for self-starters who are keen to learn and develop:
- You have a passion for solving problems
- You’re curious to learn and try new things
- You’re ready to roll up your sleeves and have responsibility
- You’re prepared to work in a fast-paced environment
- You’re open to lots of feedback
- You’re bursting with ideas
Important note: Sadly, we’re currently not able to sponsor VISAs for our internship or graduate programmes.
Step 2: pick a team
You’ll learn and develop within an independent, autonomous team to solve real business problems. You’ll ship customer-facing code from day one whilst working on a product that impacts millions of people around the world.
Data is at the heart of every decision we make. Get ready to identify trends, make processes more effective and use your insights to build creative solutions that help us achieve our mission faster.
From advising teams to forecasting and reports, to the day-to-day running of all things finance related, you’ll learn lots joining a team that helped take TransferWise from startup to profitable business 3 years running.
Our People team provide everyone with the support they need in their career to help TransferWise grow. You’ll learn new skills across several teams including People Operations, Recruitment, Analytics, Tech and People Development.
You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get involved across the full product life cycle. You’ll learn how to shape a product vision and use data to prioritise what problems to solve in your team.
From time to time, we offer internship and graduate opportunities in other teams too. Keep an eye on our careers site for open positions.
Step 3: apply
Application and CV review
In the application form, we’ll ask you to include your CV detailing your experience and achievements, plus a cover letter and a few questions related to the role.
Your area of expertise will determine the nature of the take-home test. For example, in Engineering you’ll do a coding challenge, in other teams you’ll dive into real-life problems you could be working on.
Tell us about your skills and how you like to work. You’ll also get to hear more about working here from our team.
If you’re successful in your take-home test, we’ll invite you to our office for a face-to-face interview with the team. We’ll get to know you better and chat through your skills and experience. You’ll also have a chance to ask any questions you might have.
