We’re looking for a AML Law Enforcement Liaison Specialist to join our growing AML Law Enforcement team in Brussels. This role is a unique opportunity to have an impact on TransferWise’s mission, grow as a specialist and help save millions more people money. 

Your mission: 

TransferWise has already pioneered new ways for people to transfer money across borders and currencies. Our customers can also manage their hard-earned money with the world’s first platform to offer true multi-currency banking. 

Here’s how you’ll be contributing to the AML Law Enforcement team: 

• Handle law enforcement information requests in accordance with internal policies
• Gather data for responding to law enforcement requests 
• Investigate requests and filing suspicious activity reports where required
• Maintain working relationship with law enforcement agencies 
• Analyse trends and make recommendations to process enhancements

About you: 

• You're based and legally authorised to work in Belgium
• You have 1 – 3 years of experience in AML, fraud, law enforcement, preferably in investigating suspicious activity
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch
• You have a Bachelor’s degree
• You're experienced in investigative techniques
• You’ve got strong attention to detail
• You’re able to make decisions and judgment calls on your own
• You’re able to multi-task and take responsibility in difficult situations
• Language skills in German, French, Spanish or Portuguese will be an important bonus
