To help us get closer to achieving our mission and influence those at the top, we’re looking for a Policy and Campaigns Manager to join our NYC team based in the Flatiron district, working primarily on government relations in North America. You’ll work closely with the rest of our small but mighty global public policy team and report to our Head of Policy for the Americas. 

We’re looking for a confident, self-starting superstar with a solid background in public policy in Canada that can also work on policy in the United States. You’ll help to manage our North America Government Relations efforts and to ensure that laws and regulations allow us to create the best product for our TransferWise customers:

  • Transparent pricing on international payments by all industry participants
  • Instant, low-cost, 24/7 payment systems that we can access directly
  • Onboarding regulations that create as little customer friction as possible

You’ll regularly travel to Canadian and US political institutions and work alongside colleagues in product, legal, compliance, banking and marketing to deliver low-cost, transparent and instant payments to our North American customers.

You’ll handle complicated financial issues and help TransferWise continue building a reputation as a go-to resource on FinTech-related public policy. You’ll help craft strategies to raise our profile in Ottawa and Washington, D.C, establish relationships with key policymakers and influencers, and continually identify policy outcomes to benefit our customers.
